Bio

I am a librarian at the Indiana State Library.

PLEASE NOTE: I am a librarian by profession and licensed by the State of Indiana. As a librarian and researcher, I believe in and am required to citing my primary and secondary sources, so on my memorials you will see that I have cited my sources so that you can find some of the same sources. This also means I will request to see your sources as well. It seems to be a practice that has fallen through the cracks. Feel free to email me if you have a question or are questioning my information.

PLEASE NOTE: I will not transfer memorials to anyone that has disabled their messages. If you are not willing to communicate, I'm not willing to transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: I have also made note of my relation to my memorials. My main interest is to manage memorials back to my great-great grandparents. I may ask for others who are not in my direct line if they seem to be off the radar, but I understand if you do not want to transfer and will offer suggested edits. I also will accept transfers of relatives if you are overwhelmed.

I have been researching my family history since I was 12 years old and was lucky to be able to gather stories from the senior generations before they left. After years of being tucked away in the back of the closet, I have gotten my research out and started working again on my family history and hope to contribute information here and clear up the myths that are floating around out there.

Many thanks in advance from me and my family to those who created our family's memorials. We appreciate your time and effort.
