I recently attended a Storyline Conference where participants were encouraged to choose a service project. About that same time, our daughter asked me to find the house where my father was raised by an adopted family. I not only found the house but also a family photo album that included a precious, childhood photo of my father. My only one! Since then, countless researchers & family, who I've met through social media, have assisted me in locating my father's biological family.

My research interests include the Edgar R. Bryant family (SF), Jose Aguirre & Leonara Cardwell family (San Sebastian, Old Town San Diego, Los Angeles, SF, San Rafael, Berkeley, Monterey), McGill and McParland families (Armagh, Ireland, Washington State), Kiser & Hipp families (North Carolina).

Being a Find A Grave contributor has become our family's service project. It lifts our collective spirits knowing that we can provide others with tangible links to the past. Paradise Cemetery, Centerville Cemetery and the Paradise Genealogy Society Library are significant Butte County, CA resources and deserve much of the credit I receive for my Find-A-Grave photographs.
