I'm focusing on Historically Black Churches in Robeson County, Scotland County and Dillon County.

This is for my family research and to assist others.

Some of the headstones in these cemeteries are over 150yrs old and have become totally illegible. They just appear as a slab of stone. Others have been broken. Worst of all some of these are located in the woods - if I can see them I will capture them, but I'm not hiking through the woods to try to find them.

If you have family members in these cemeteries that I have not captured; I could have overlooked them; but they may be lost to nature. This is why I try to capture as many as I can before they are completely lost.

I have taken pictures of all that I have found; in between my trips to these counties; I will try to manipulate the pictures to try to glean some information from faded headstones; but please know it may not be possible.
