Bio

I've always been fascinated with genealogy and enjoyed watching and listening to the conversations had by the people in my family who'd embarked on this journey of recording and researching the family lines. This of course happened before the days of the internet where the bulk of the leg work was hitting the library, archives, and taking road trips to visit families in their homes.

As time has passed and the family historians have passed on, I've come to realize that in some cases their work has disappeared. In other cases, my family has inherited a bunch of photographs and keepsakes, but not all of them have names or connections linked to them. When my daughter was born in 2013, I realized the family historians I'd grown up with were no longer around to ask and obtain firsthand knowledge of who is who in the family. In an effort to compile and chart a family history for my daughter, I've taken up the cause.

It's taken a year to get sorted and organized, but happy to have landed here and learn and discover from others also on this site.

To all the Find A Grave site contributors: You all do amazing and beautiful work. Thank you so much for the time, love, care, and respect you put into creating and photographing family memorials.

Blessings in abundance.
