Before deleting a memorial or merging a memorial info should be transferred to the correct Find A Grave memorial that was created first in the correct cemetery. Also deleting a memorial is not the best process. Merging a memorial through findagrave.com is the best and proper way. Find A Grave now has an edit merge request option process within the App of a memorial, it is quick and easy. Both memorials need to mirror one another including cemetery info. Merging would have allowed a person who has saved a Find A Grave memorial to their family tree with the Find A Grave Memorial number that was deleted to attach to the proper memorial created. Deleting a memorial important info and family connections can be lost.

https://www.findagrave.com/list-faqs Is the URL for contacting Find A Grave or you can use Find A Grave Email: [email protected] . Creating a duplicate memorial of a person due to frustration is not cool. Only one memorial should be created per person. Rectify any issues with Find A Grave. Creating a duplicate memorial due to your frustration takes away credit from the person who first created a memorial. It also causes frustration for others who have the first created memorial saved to their tree.

Please feel free to use any photos for your personal use that I have taken which I have posted to a memorial. I will be happy to transfer management of any memorial not closely related to me. Just kindly ask.

My family tree is over 128,000 individuals. Each person I have tried to link with Find A Grave in my tree. I have done extensive work on Find A Grave in the state of Nebraska linking connecting families which connect to my tree. Not only Nebraska but anywhere the trail lead me.

I enjoy helping others find their families. I have worked many other family trees who were in search of a specific person. I have been very lucky in finding the individual they were looking for. I was not always thanked for helping them but I do know that when I help a person out I am not only helping the person inquiring but the many others who connect to the individual I had found.

I have done a lot of photo requests throughout the years. I have thanked each and every person for doing the hard work. It is very difficult finding a burrial plot. In the heat in the cold in the rain and in the snow, forraging through the thick over growth and even digging for a stone. I thank you all for your dedication in the search of our ancestors. Remember we connect to each other one way or another and for that we should treat one another with respect.
