Bio

I retired from the IT business in 2013 and now have time to look around the internet. I stumbled on Find a Grave and started looking for relatives. I was pleasantly surprised by how many I found. Since I have many photos handed down by my mom who died in 2013, based on comments on the back, I am adding links to parents and spouses.

Family: Forsman/Forsmann and Esker on my father's side, Abbl/Appel and Lemire on my mother's side. Location: Keuterville or Cottonwood Idaho, but may have ended up in Oregon or Washington. Originally my grandparents came from Illinois, Minnesota, Germany and Bohemia. Many in the generations before them came from Germany and Bohemia; the Lemires came from France via Canada.

-------------------------------------------------

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow;
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight;
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die

-------------------------------------------------

Wanderer stay a while and pray for me
Soon there shall be another
To stay and pray for Thee

THE TIME IS NOW

If you are ever going to love me,
Love me now, while I can know
The sweet and tender feelings
Which from true affection flow.

Love me now
While I am living.

Do not wait until I'm gone
And then have it chiseled in marble,
Sweet words on ice-cold stone.

If you have tender thoughts of me,
Please tell me now.

If you wait until I am sleeping,
Never to awaken,
There will be death between us
And I won't hear you then.

So, if you love me, even a little bit,
Let me know it while I am living
So I can treasure it.
