Update 6/29/2015-With tips from Ron Clees, FindAGrave contributor, I feel confident that James & Mary came from Bucks County, PA. James' parents are Richard and Hannah (Huddleston) Tomlinson.

No knowledge of origins of James and Mary
Lycoming Co History states James came from Scotland
However, one of his sons states James is from Lycoming County PA

A letter written by James stated he lived in the Muncy Valley. I have copies of the deed showing he purchased land a copy of the deed showing one of his sons bought land from him.

All of my ancestors back to James and Mary lived in the Loyalsock Valley/Muncy Valley. I live in the Loyalsock Valley.
