Bio

I began genealogy research in the 1990's, but in the last years I have devoted more time, well -- lots more time! I have been fortunate to find and be found by several 2nd cousins through the information I have posted on findagrave.

My research stems from the Hiatt and Hawkins lines. Fortunately, both my parents' families were Quakers when they arrived in the colonies (1700), so research has been easier. However, there are many non-Quakers to keep me on my toes.

Other lines include: Wright, Bell, Swan, Shepler/Shipler, Tanner, Moore, Harrod, Mills, Hiller /Heller, Tilbury, McGibbons, Scott, Cary/Carey, Brett, Godfrey, Andrew, Hunt (NC), Terrell, Anthony, Chiles, Lindley, Hadley, Beals, Harvey, Northcutt, Welch, Hunt (GA), Hendricks, Cornelius, Guthrey, Harris, and Robinson.
