I am retired in the wonderful Gold Country of the Sierra Foothills of Amador County in Northern California, home to gold, 49er history, old cemeteries, and wine.

One of my hobbies is photojournalling cemeteries and entering them in FaG in hope they will be of use to their families. I am happy to transfer any memorials to family or friends.

Other hobbies include roses, gardening, wine, winemaking, genealogy, and playing softball.

I love to travel the world while visiting gardens and cemeteries largely for unique monuments, architecture, and carvings, especially of roses. Of course the best part of travel is the people, food and wine.
