I am great granddaughter of William Waller Bowling(son of Mary Polly G. Bowling/Bowlen,Bolin)Father unknown)(born in Patrick County,Va.) & Nancy Jane Clifton Bowling(her parents were Emanuel Clifton & Ruth Ingram), W.W. & Nancy Bowling were buried at Wayside Cemetery in Stuart, Patrick Co, Va . My grandfather was Charlie Green Bowlin(he dropped the(g) when he moved to Va. in 1918 & Nancy(Nannie) Jane Wigginton Bowlin both buried Pine Grove Cemetery,Amelia County, Amelia Va. I have notebooks of notes of Bowlin/Bowling/Bouldin/ Wigginton sp./Clifton family kin. I'm kin on my maternal side to James Ashman b 1817 England who died 6-10-1899 & wife Margaret both buried Oak Hill Cemetery Pontiac,Oakland County, Mi.,some of the family migrated to Amelia,Va , Samuel W. Ashman & and family came in 2 covered wagon's in early 1900's a 800 mile journey. Other family went west George John Ashman to Chillicothe and Chula Mo. and John H. Ashman to Grays Harbor, Wa. The C.C.Roberts & John C.Roberts ,etc of Amelia County, Va. are in my maternal line also , the family moved to other states, some in Georgia, Maryland,etc. The Eldridge Wright & other Wright family of Amelia, Va are in my maternal line also.
