First of all, thank you to all who contribute information, research and photos to these memorial pages out of love of history and to honor the people these memorials recall.

When submitting relationship or maiden name edits please include a source (in addition to any Ancestry.com claims) under the "SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION OR ADDITION" Tab on the Edit page so that it can be credited on the memorial along with the contributor of the source/information. Sources can be your personal family history, books, newspapers, wikipedia, church records etc. Naming sources and contributors is meant to assist other researchers as well as to substantiate claims.

Transfer requests will be considered according to findagrave guidelines...a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents).

Findagrave does not want photocopies of obits or newspaper articles in photos but information obtained there can be included in biographies. According to http://copyright.cornell.edu/resources/publicdomain.cfm; if published before 1923 any news article published in the United States is in the public domain and be can reprinted or republished.
