Bio

I was born of the parents Donald Veal Dove and Donice Sue Pursley Dove in Buford, Georgia on Thursday, December 25, 1958. My paternal Grandmother is Bessie Veal Dove, buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, Georgia. My maternal Grandparents were Ed and Juanita Pursley buried in the Bethabara Cemetery just off Highway 78 west of Athens, Georgia. My Mother was cremated when she passed away in 2002 an a monument bearing her remembrance stands along side her parents there. My Step Mother, Shirley Bradford Brown Dove, is now married to my Father. I am so proud to know that my Mama Shirley is there to love, appreciate and take care of my Dad who as of June of 2015 became 94 years young! My biological Mother and my Mama Shirley were like sisters, only closer in many ways and I am so honored and lucky to have her as my new Mother and so indebted to her for the care she takes of my father. They have worked together as Physician and Physicians Assistant for more than 30 years and my Father was the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner for many of those years. How very honored I am to be a part of such a wonderful family, especially my parents; all three of them. As of today, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 by Dad is the longest active licensed Physician in the state of Georgia!!
