Bio

We became a member of Find a Grave and find it extremely valuable to our family research. We have been photographing family graves for years and have a passion for the final resting places of our family members and other persons. Our family members maintain several of these final resting places on private property. It is a great way to spend time with family. Our grandson has now developed an interest in seeing these sites and we're glad to share with him.

We now want to move on to helping others find these sites and information on their family. Find a Grave is a great tool for sharing our extensive geneaoligical information and a great way of connecting families that are gone but not forgotten. If you see information that we need to correct or if you have anything to share with us, your contact is appreciated.

We are "finders" in training and appreciate the wonderful training tools and FAQ found on this site. We are willing to share all and any information that we can. We are currently working full time and this is a hobby that we enjoy. If you contact us (and contacts are welcome), please understand that responses are not immediate but will try to respond within 7 - 10 days.

We will be glad to transfer memorials that are not related to us (but we do want to hang on to immediate family lines) just follow the guidelines and state your relationship. To prevent mis-information, please use the edit tab for requests.

We appreciate the extensive information gathered by many members of Find a Grave. Thank you!!!

Our most immediate families are Mays, Bradley, Fitzgerald Ogden and Snead but when you have Cash, Campbell and Mays connections in Amherst County, it's everybody.

Please feel free to use our posted information and pictures. It's our priviledge to assist when we can.

Marlene and Edwin Fitzgerald

Post Script: My husband Edwin Fitzgerald, passed away on March 7, 2018. I will continue our Find A Grave work in his memory. My daughter, granddaughter and grandson will be my companions as we continue to find and document forgotten family sites.
