99.5% of the memorials I manage are my own family or my husbands'. The remaining .5% belong to dear friends. If you're more closely related and want to manage a memorial, please send me a message.

NOTE: I do not "automatically approve" edits. Be courteous and first explain who you are and where you got the new info. I've researched my memorials in depth and will not make willy-nilly edits.

Paakkola, Kemi, Finland.

Family surnames (Father's side)
Wilkie, Hart/Harte, Buckley, England/Englan, Marquette and Traxel.
County Cork, Ireland.
Strathmiglo, Fife, Scotland.
Muskegon MI, Ashland, Park Falls and Eau Claire, WI.

Husband's Family surnames
Wentz and Burke/Bjork.
Germany.
Kalmar län, Sweden.
Cambria County, PA. New Hampton, Winnesheik and Chickasaw Counties, IA.

I am so grateful to findagrave volunteers. They have helped me enormously. Unfortunately, there are a few schmucks in the crowd. I wish findagrave would quit focusing on who has the most numbers; that would thin out the bad apple crowd. Seriously, who cares? Do you care? I don't care. This isn't a contest. Memorials should belong to a) good hearted volunteers who take care of them or b) relatives who do likewise.

I know what findagrave policies are on obituaries, but I don't get it. Obits are published online, on tribute sites, historical sites, and in newspapers: they're out in the world for everyone to see. Why is it different when the same thing is posted on findagrave?

I'm happy to help anyone else with their research in my assorted families, if I can.

Cheers!
