I volunteer at Assumption Grotto Cemetery in Detroit, MI with groundskeeping, the occasional repair/restoration, and researching its history. This cemetery dates back to about 1825 (before the parish) but I've not been able to read any stones from that early. (There are about 2 dozen broken/illegible stones.) The cemetery is approximately 3.5 acres, and has over 2800 internments, though a good number unmarked.
