I am a retired school counselor and have two grown children and three grandchildren. I became interested in Genealogy research about six year ago while trying to find a lost half sister. It is through our ancestral history that we uncover hidden aspects about our families, which in turn can lead to a much clearer vision of who we are and what we stand for. Even more importantly, it is a way to honor our loved ones; by giving voice to their experiences and the lives they led so that even the 7th generation will have the gift of knowledge about their lives and legacies.
