From grandparents to great great grandparents, mine all came from Germany and Austria to New York City from the latter half of the 1800s to the early 1900s, and settled in Brooklyn and Queens. And there they stayed until my parents left New York to see the world. So many of my relatives have their final resting place in The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn, that I feel a special connection to it.
