I am a retired USAF MSgt. I have been researching my genealogy since I was a young boy. Having gotten a lot of bad information when I was younger, I appreciate the power of the internet, but I know genealogy is connected to a time before digital.
I am descendant of Jimeson Ingram b abt 1810 and lived in Wood Co Virginia before it was West Virginia. Beyond that is speculation.
On my father's side significant names are Ingram, Ingraham, Hodson, Davis, Shipley, Yantis, Russell, Hanshew and Hauk.
On my mother's side significant names are Giselbach, Green, Pfifer, Hoppenrath, Fite, Bannon, Powers and Salters.
