Bio

I thank all who created and improved FindAGrave (FAG). It is a great platform for memorializing and honoring deceased family and friends. FAG is hugely powerful, flexible and useful. I use FAG to (1) add or improve information on individuals already memorialized in FAG, and (2) create new memorials for deceased friends or family. I especially enjoy “connecting the dots” for those on FAG who are not linked to their spouses, parents, siblings, or children. These links help reunify families who in life were likely close to each other. I believe most memorialized individuals would want to be remembered in association with others in their family, that all deceased are entitled to having their final disposition remembered and memorialized, and that memorializing is best done by a descendant’s family members. Not all deceased have family able and/or willing to produce a FAG memorial, so I appreciate FAG contributors who do this for non-family. When I memorialize an individual in FAG, I try to honor not only the individual but their entire family. When good information is available for a deceased individual, I want that info shared before it is lost or forgotten. The automatic family linkages produced by FAG make it especially valuable.
