I visited cemeteries on Decoration Day in Marion County, AR many times with my Mother, Grandmother, Great Aunts and extended family. We would have dinner on the ground and a singing in the afternoon. That tradition is still being carried on today. My family and my husbands came to Marion County, AR in the 1800's. I grew up in KS and OK and now live in AR.
My research includes Carroll, Keeter, Callahan, Yarbrough, Nanney and all related families.
