RE: Ella Roberta Shue Henry
Thanks for the note back, Gail. No, I'm not a relative. I'm a volunteer for the local Genealogy Society and a member asked us to help her find some information about the Shue family, specifically the sons of Daniel and Catherine Shue. Since I emailed you, I've located the marriage records for Elizabeth Wilson and William C. (Charles, I'm assuming) Shue. I know sometimes variations of first names are often found.

I show a date of December 12, 1887. I haven't heard back from her, but I believe it helped her confirm she had the right family.

Ella Roberta Shue Henry
I guess I just answered my previous question. I found the marriage certificate for Ella's daughter Olive that shows her mother Ella born in Lonaconing, Maryland. By any chance do you know anything more about her mother Elizabeth Wilson. There were several in the area at the time. Just wondering. Thanks so much.

I guess I just answered my own question. I found the marriage certificate for daughter Olive that lists her mother Ella as being born in Lonaconing, Maryland. Do you have any further information on her mother Elizabeth Wilson? Thanks so much.

Could you tell me if Ella is the granddaughter of Daniel L. Shue (Lonaconing in 1880 and later Tucker County, WV) and Catherine B. Shue.
Thanks.

RE: Bennet
I contacted Mike Hahn who set up the Bennett Cemetery. Not he Bennett Farm Cemetery. His response below basically confirms that the Cemetery photo posted on the Bennett Cemetery does not belong there. I sent a message to the woman who posted the photo asking her to follow up with Mike Hahn. In my mind this resolves my question and confirms the photos are of the same Cemetery. Hopefully she will remove it.

Email from Mike Hahn
I think I understand the problem. There is in fact two different cemeteries. What has caused the confusion is the look alike photo that was added to both cemeteries. The Bennett Cemetery I added sets on a hill surrounded at a
white fence. One can see Artemas from the cemetery. We need to have the photo removed of the fenced in cemetery that was attached to my Bennett Cemetery.

RE: Bennett Farm Cemetery
Can we take our connection off Find A Grave to personal emails? You can email me at cjhebner.genealogy@gmail.com. I like to keep records of discussions like this and found email to be easier for me categorized and archive.

I do visit "the north" from time to time, though not totally convenient to that area, I could make it work eventually. I feel pretty sure that the two photos are of the same cemetery.

My paternal grandmother was a Bennett. She was born in Flintstone, MD. If you are interested I would welcome the opportunity to explore our mutual (your husbands) Bennett connection through email. Hope that is acceptable for you.

Regards,
Cheri

RE: Bennett Cemetery
Yes, I have visited the Bennett Cemetery which is just outside of Artemas. A friend of my sister-in-law from Everett took me to visit this cemetery in 2011. He cuts the grass in the cemetery, his parents are buried there. I looked at the Bennett Farm Cemetery listing but did not find any of the graves that I found in the Bennett Cemetery. I will have to list this on my bucket list to visit this cemetery again. Harriet

RE: Bennett Farm Cemetery
Thank you so much for taking the time to send such a thorough reply. I am sure that your research is well documented. I also reached out to the person who posted the other photo. If you had a chance to look at it, I'm certain it is the same Cemetery, and I just want to co firm so I can at the very least correct my own records.

I am not local to the area.

Has your husband posted any DNA results? I'm always looking for cousins.

Thank you again for responding as well as for all your efforts and the Find A Grave postings.
