Bio

I retired from Federal Government service in 2011, and have now found a new passion in finding our family roots through genealogy research. My husband and I love to travel, and now that I'm a photo volunteer for Find-a-Grave, I'll be checking for photo requests in cemeteries along our travel routes. I've been on the receiving end of several photo requests, and I know how much it means to have someone take the time to look up a loved one and send the picture back to me. I'm happy to help whenever I'm "in the neighborhood" of your loved one. Please feel free to copy any of the pictures I post to Find-a-Grave for your personal use.

A bit about me personally – I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado (one of the most beautiful places on earth!); my family moved to Denver when I was in high school, where I met my wonderful husband. We will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in April of 2022. After his tour in the Navy during the Vietnam War, we settled in the Denver area, and have been here ever since – close to family. We don't have any children, but have plenty to keep us busy with RV camping, travel, caring for an elderly mother, brothers, sisters, and our wonderful furry children (one very feisty little cat and one very energetic golden-doodle).
