Bio

I am Jennifer Leder... maiden name ' Becker '. I am the last of The Becker bloodline, so I care not only for their memorials here , but hands on at all of their grave sites. I weed, I clean , I buy flowers & arrange & plant them.. I spend time at the graves I care for.
I only have memorials on this site for my family, ancestors, & The Monroe's... a plot I adopted. I do not ' collect ' plots on this site like some do... I am just trying to keep the family together & honor them by having pics of them & stories on their memorial so it is not just a picture of a tombstone. There are people on this site that collect family plots like Pokemon cards & I think it is horrible. A few people have refused to give me my own family member plots. I will never understand that or how people could misuse this site so disgustingly. At the end of the day isn't it all about family & finding them & honoring them ? It is for me & I not only do it here online, but out hands on in the real world at their graves.
I am the one responsible for having Mary Keokee Monroe's angel tombstone returned to her grave in 2000 after it was stolen for 9 years from Woodland Cemetery ~ Cleveland, Ohio in 1991. I created a website about all that ... Mary Keokee Monroe, her history, & mine... Here is the link to that story if so inclined; ---

My husband , Skip & I now care for The entire Monroe plot alone, with no help from any volunteers or the city cemetery. I weed, landscape, plant flowers &mulch on a regular basis in a financially broke city cemetery. All they can do there is mow. I do this for over 21 souls in The Monroe plot. I consider Mary & her family to be my guardian angels & soulmates. I have created a website ;

I do this to keep their memory & spirit alive since they have no living relatives, the city cemetery has no $ to do anything but mow & there are no living relatives; or no one has come forward to care for this plot in decades if they are alive. I do this with the cemeteries permission & it is my passion in life to keep their plot as beautiful as it can be. I will do this as long as I am alive & able. My goal is to eventually pay for repairs & cleaning of the angel, repairing the plexiglass encasement & repairing the 150 year old fence surrounding the angel. That is my dream. I hope that one day I can actually afford to do that. Until then I will just plant flowers & make it as pretty as I can. Peace to all who visit The Monroe's plot at Woodland Cemetery... thanks for your interest in them .
I also care for my great grandparents gravesite The Beckers @ Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland Ohio ..... a plot of 5 souls dating back to the early 1800's. I also care for their parents plot, The Workmans & Roosa's in the same cemetery in the same way. It is one of the oldest plots in that cemetery . Doing this for them is my passion. I also do the same for them, I weed, plant flowers & maintain it every spring & summer. I hope they all like their flowers. I do this because it brings me joy to keep their memory alive with living beauty... It's like a part of them is still alive & growing. I hope they see it from where they all are...
