I got interested in Genealogy about in 2005 and have found it to be very interesting and historical.

I currently am the leader of a Genealogy Club of about 30 senior citizens in the community where I live in Gold Canyon, Arizona. I provide training, leadership and direction with software, i.e., RootsMagic, FamilySearch, Find A Grave and Ancestry. I am not LDS but I work closely with our local Family History Center in Mesa, Arizona.

I hold a California Community College Lifetime Credential and have also been an Adjunct Professor at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), University of California Riverside (UCR), San Diego State University (SDSU) and Rancho Santiago Community College in Santa Ana, California.

In my extended family I have six (6) former US Presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Tyler, James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr., George Herbert Walker Bush and George Walker Bush.

I also have two Confederate Generals in my extended family, Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson and Robert E. Lee.

I am also part of the Clan Napier in North America as being a direct descendant of Dr. Patrick Napier.

Family names that I am working on are McCoy, Schrankler, Gunder, Flaming, Gadberry, Hearn, Napier, Pointer, Wright and many many more.
