A Texan by birth, my ancestors came from Maryland, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri and several other areas, after starting from various parts of the British empire and Scandinavia. Subsequently, following a career in computer systems development and support, my family and I moved from Texas to Ohio to Georgia to Michigan and back to Texas (sans kids).

It has been fun travels, mostly, and reflecting on my own relatively short history makes it more intriguing to find out all I can about the adventures of my forebears.
