Bio

I've been doing genealogy since about 1995. I'm
interested in working on all memorials with the Algeo name and their descendants. As you will note it's a fairly uncommon and unique name. The earliest Algeos in the U.S. show up in NY in the late 1600s. My line came from Ireland in 1787, and other lines in several voyages across the pond after that. There are many repeat names such as William, John, Thomas, Robert, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, etc. So the search of just my direct upline has necessarily turned into a much broader search due in part to the many records with the same names being collected over the years, as well as wanting to connect all the broken off branches of the ancient Algeo tree and having many other Algeos that want to discover the entire clan and how we all connect and even some wanting to collaborate.

God Bless, and happy family discoveries to you all.

On an added note, if you're a grave photographer/obit listing creator and run across any Algeo graves or obits, and you create a listing, I'd love it if you transfer them to me. To me, that's the whole point of findagrave - to share your discoveries with those people's families, to help the families find their relatives (of any generation or relationship connection). I love my family and want to make the history and lineage discoverable to other family members.
