I believe F.A.G. is a wonderful site as a tool for family trees and so no one is forgotten. All of our ancestors have a story and they each have touched our lifes in some way. I have met some wonderful people on this site that have helped me and I would like to return the kindness, I would be happy to get pictures in my area. Im in New Albany, Indiana. But I have met a few that are rude and act like it would hurt them to be kind and considerate. Some take it too far all it is to them is to have the most memorials. they forget what this site is all about. No its not a family tree site. But the hole reason we are doing the memorials is so people can find info on their family members. These memorials are someone's beloved ones.but I dont let them ruin my experience on here.So thank you to all the wonderful people I know how hard you work.
So far my research is in Kentucky. Adair,wayne,Washington,Pulaski, Russell,Garrard,Marion,Rockcastle counties. Some of my names are Burris/Burress, Burton,Johnson,Hill,Crow,Coulter,Murphy, Perryman,Cowan,Gilpin.
Preserving my family history is so very important to me.I know it takes a special person to learn their story Grandpas, Grandmas, Aunts,Uncles,even Cousins.and then we all have the wild relatives but they still have a story.
Until you walk a cemetery and feel the peace that is there and knowing that I might be helping someone connect with their family is a great feeling.If I have your family I would be happy to transfer the memorial to you unless it is my family. Good luck fellow gravest and God Bless.
Now I guess my husband has the graver fever , he has now started helping . His family is Scott, Bloomfelter, Lawerance, Richards and more. Most of his family is from Crawford and Harrison Counties in Indiana.
