Bio

Retired Army Sergeant Major, specializing in intelligence gathering and research. Son of Carl Bickley Adams and Marion Agnes Quick born and raised in the Quad Cities, living in several places as we moved around a lot within the same area (Moline, E Moline, &, Hampton & Silvis, IL) My mothers' ancestors are the Quick from NY, PA & IL) and Wishnoff from Russia, Germany, Israel, NY & Chicago with variance in spelling. My maternal grandmother was Sarah Wishnoff, d/o a Jewish Rabbis from the tribe of Levi, a Russian Immigrant settling in Chicago during the mid to late 1800s. Our family know very little about our Jewish ancestories since our grandmother was disowned.

I am also the husband of Glenda Ellen Lamb whose ancestors are: Lamb (NC & FL), Reamer (PA, IN, KS) Metcalf (NC), and Shetron (MO & KS).

My Paternal Grandparents are: Richard Adams & Margaret Armager 1530-1603; Robert Adams SR & Elizabeth Sharlon 1568-1602; Robert Adams JR & Eleanor Wilmot 1602-82; SGT Abraham Adams SR & Mary Ingersoll Pettingill 1639-1714; CPT Abraham Adams JR & Anne Longfellow 1676-1763; Henry Adams & Sarah Mehitable Emery 1722-1773; Enoch Esquire Adams SR & Sally Bragg 1752-1819; DR Joseph H Adams & Betsy Farnum 1788-1840; Erasmus Darwin Adams & Catherine Sturgis 1814-1901; John Sturgis Adams & Abigail "Phebe" Bickley 1844-1938; John Bickley Adams & Lulu Maude Akin Miller 1881-1964

My wife and I live in the Pensacola, FL area but since our retirement we travel all around the U. S. with the goal of visiting all of our ancestors grave sites and homesteads and seeing all of the States. We started out our 37 years together in Hawaii in 1976 where both of us met while serving in the Army with the 25th INF DIV @ Schofield Barracks.

My wife and I have seen all 50 States except for Alaska and continue to revisit each states as I just recently started taking interest in our family history and learning more about our ancestors.

We have collected a lot of information regarding our (Self & Wife) family. If anyone would like for me to share any of the information with you or would like to provide me with additional information, we would be more then willing to oblige.

We are available to visit grave sites or homesteads on your behalf (family or not) during our travel across the country and take pictures for you, just let us know how we can be of help to you and your family.

God Bless!
