I've just recently gotten into tracing my ancestors, although the idea of it has always interested me. I've been able to trace part of my family back to 1600's England. I also have Native American heritage that has been much more difficult to trace. Any help with that, in particular, would be much appreciated.
I also have German and Irish heritage, which has been quite the challenge to trace so far. I would welcome any tips on how best to proceed with that particular task.
I love the research and learning about my ancestors and other families, imagining what their lives may have been like - the joys and the heartaches, the adventure of coming to a new land in hopes of starting a new life.
