I was photographing cemeteries before I began documenting them online. I have always had a love for the unique designs and mausoleums. With find-a-grave, I hope to connect others with the beauty I see.

I came full-circle with the understanding of the importance of this website. While photographing in a local cemetery, I stumbled across my own Grandfather. I had no idea he had a headstone, or even where he was laid to rest.

This is how family mausoleums get forgotten. Records get lost when people pass away, and family stories are untold. Then sadly, cemetery owners die and headstones are overgrown and vandalized and more.

I LOVE being a part of the Find-A-Grave community and look forward to recording more history with all of you.
