**I have a strong interest in the 10th Mountain Division, as my Grandfather, Ernie Knapper, was a member (85th-HQ 2nd Batt) in Italy 1945 WWII. I've become active with my local North Central chapter of 10th Mountain Div. Descendants (and FindAGrave) in hope to build awareness for this elite, freedom-fighting ski troop.
