Bio

I have been doing genealogy for over 18 years. It was my husbands mother Iona's hobby & she passed the love onto me & her son. We have a large library of genealogy reference books, & always on the hunt for more. We have over 35,000 relatives in our family trees at this time. I enjoy researching my husbands Texas roots and exploring the Bonnie Parker shadows in his line of the famous Bonnie & Clyde & including the Texas Revolution for Independence from Mexico, & the relatives that came to Texas before it was a state.
I also enjoy researching mine. I have been able to go back on my line to know that King Edward I of England, was my 24th Great Grand father.(whose lineage goes back another couple hundred years)* I always knew I was a Princess,LOL* Also many founding fathers and Pre/post colonial Governors ,even Benjamin Franklin & John Hancock & the founder of Macy's Dept Store, Roweland Hussey Macy & several others dot my family tree. Unfortunately, my father was adopted so I have only been able to research my mothers line.
I enjoy all of it but especially the migration from England (some of which were on the Mayflower & following ships), Revolutionary War & Civil War family patriots, & the migration from the east coast to the frontier north & West & south.
My husband & I like to travel & we visit places our ancestors have lived & take pictures & write our family history for the next generations to come of ours.
Just as my dear mother-in-law has passed her research work down to her son & I, we want to pass it along to the next generations,
If you have any questions or need more information just let me know. I will be glad to help. I have our family tree on Ancestry.com on a private setting because I include relatives that are still alive.
