I've been researching my own family tree since about 2005, having the benefit of my own parents' 25+ years of "on the ground" research. Family names are Schaeffer, DeShong, Nelson, Babin, Foltz, Strole, Neel, Tillman, Stahlheber, Andre, Davis, Simmons, Barwick, Allen, Strickler, Blackburn.

I also enjoy helping others research their own family trees, and I volunteer with several organization for that purpose, and for the purpose of researching found items - family treasures such as old photos found in thrift shops - and returning them to living descendants.

I have not added many memorials to this site but I do try to add information to existing memorials to fill in missing dates or family member connections, and I am happy to locate and photograph grave markers in the Houston Texas metro area.
