I stumbled across Find a Grave in September 2015, while working on my family tree. Some of the memorials were very helpful in my research, some were just names & dates, some were (and still are) missing. My main focus is still on my extended family, trying to locate graves and establishing links between family members if none exist.

Along the way, I found a community of caring people who will go out of their way to help a total stranger. Just fulfilled my first volunteer grave photograph, with the help of my husband. Next time we will take better tools along.
