Born and raised in Virginia, have traveled throughout the US, Bahamas and Europe. I have huge interest in History, photography, genealogy and yarns of the people and their family legends. I enjoy assisting in helping people locate the graves of ancestors and documenting lives, as it is all one great big puzzle. That being said, I also volunteer to do index work with the FamilySearch.org website, helping to translate and update handwritten documents to modern computer databases, to allow for digitizing records and faster searches. I like that site as it is free, and well maintained and user friendly. Maybe one day, I will grow up (ok, maybe "reach mentally maturity" is a better definition) and become professional at this stuff, but currently, it is a hobby.
