Bio

I was born in Alliance, Nebraska. My parents, Russell Sommers and Ruby Reeves Sommers lived in Hyannis, Nebraska at that time. I completed the 8th grade in Hyannis and moved to Wallace, Nebraska where I completed high school. I have two children and two grandchildren. I became interested in finding my relatives after my Mother became ill and I began going through all of her things. I found many pictures of both her and my Dad's families. I have learned about many people and have made contact with two cousins I didn't know existed and reconnected with cousins I had lost contact with.

Feel free to use any pictures I have taken. If you want me to delete a picture just let me know.

Thanks to Maggie Cope for helping me take pictures in Whitman, Hyannis , Alliance and Arthur. A special thanks to my life time better half, Jim Goedert for going with me on most of my picture taking adventures and even helping take pictures in Edgemont, South Dakota, Bingham, Nebraska and Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon, Nebraska!
