I got into genealogy after the unexpected passing of my Dad and my Mimi (grandma) in June 2015. Losing them within days of each other was overwhelming and I immersed myself in family history research to cope. That eventually led me to volunteering for Find a Grave, which turned out to be a big help in healing and a rewarding past time.

I do research for most of the memorials I create and enjoy helping people locate their loved ones and occasionally solve a family mystery.
