Bio

I have been researching my ancestry for a few years, and use Find A Grave as a valuable resource! I volunteered to take photos, and have found it surprisingly enjoyable.

I usually take photos of nearby graves if they appear to be related to the requested decedent. If there is not a memorial already set up for the extra relatives, I will set up a memorial for them and add the photo if the requester doesn't want to. If you are a relative, and would like to take over management of these memorials, or any other of those not related to me, please let me know, and I can transfer them to you.

If you are going to request photos, it would be nice if you could contact the cemetery and find out 1} do they have a record of burial, 2) where your loved one is buried, and 3) if there is a head stone. Some cemeteries have so many requests for them, it makes it hard to get the locations of them all.

Also, you are free to use the photos I take. You do not need to give me credit. The credit belongs to the deceased and his or her family, for contributing to us all. "No man is an island." - John Donne
