|German-Irish Lady||RE: Bateman, Copple Families|
I am so very sorry, but I am not able to help you. The Copple family was a very distant sideline of our family. A few years ago, I had a lot of Copple info, however, I did not have my database backed up and when my computer crashed, I lost the info. After that, I had to start again and was so discouraged and frustrated with myself for not backing things up, that I just couldn't get back into things again like I used to, and I just kind of lost interest in getting out and going to all the cemeteries like I used to.
I can tell you that many of the Copple family are buried in the Jefferson and Marion County Illinois areas.
|Ann Koch||Mildred Bateman|
Hello, again, Sue. I was just going thru my findagrave notes to see if I had finished with some Bateman questions. I noticed for the first time that the person who contributed the listing for Mildred had put in the wrong date (the day). Both the headstone and the death certificate show the 8th but the contributor shows the 12th.
Please let me know (again, I think) if there are any other Bateman listings of mine that you would like transferred to you. I'm having memory problems so please bear with me! Going on 75 soon and my brain is acting as if I were turning 95!

Are you familiar with the WA digital archives? www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/Home
That's where I get lots of marriage and death info. I sort the listings by location to look for the likeliest matches. I think I found 3 in Columbia county and lots more in Walla Walla county. Let me know which Bateman findagrave listings are in your family and I'll pass them on. Ann

Hi! Sue, can I assume that you'll be taking care of adding James Samuel Bateman's children (as you had earlier asked me to so) since I've been passing Bateman listings on to you lately? I didn't want them to fall thru the cracks while we were in transition. Ann Koch

I think I have it fixed now. Please check.
|Nancy Benoit Searle||RE: LaFramboise and Trudeau|
I see Romain in the 1880, 1885, 1895 Gentilly census with his parents Joseph and Angelique (Sauve) Laframboise. He has 5 sisters and 4 brothers listed. Emma, Elodie, Josephine, Romain, Joseph, Eugenie, Antoine, Antoinette, Hughes, Leopold. His 6 younger siblings all went to Yakima WA area. Looks like his daughter Doria married Hector Arel in 1922 and Laura married Oscar Helm in 1922 also. I have not been able to find his parents in Find A Grave yet. The closest I see is Joseph 1839-1901 and Mary 1843-1920 both in Alpena MI,not sure why they would be buried there after living in Gentilly for 20 years (1880-1900).
