Find a Grave ID

Bio

I live in Minneapolis, MN. I have been working on family members but also setting up memorials and photos for a few other people I encounter along the way. I am interested in locating hard-to-find and unmarked grave sites. If you especially want a photo of an unmarked grave in the Minneapolis area, let me know.

In the Midwest, my family background includes the names Haggquist, Wahlstedt and many common Swedish names from Sweden, and Sanford, Austin, Nevins, and King originating from New York and other New England and Canadian locations.

From Missouri, I have Petty, Howard, Brandenburg, Hill, Owen, Witcher, Luther, and Hammock ancestors whose predecessors came there from Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee and the Carolinas. A lot of them later spread out into other southern states and Texas.

I have completed photos for all memorials in the following small cemeteries:
---- Christ Presbyterian Columbarium, Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota - completed November 2019.
---- Peery-Haislip Cemetery, Montgomery County, Missouri - completed August 2017.
---- Smith-Chapman Cemetery, Callaway County, Missouri - completed August 2017. (It shows only 74% photographed because there are some people in there who don't belong there.)

I have two never-ending projects:
(1) Trying to photograph as many of the memorials as possible, including unmarked graves, in the PG (public graves) and soldier sections of Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
(2) Trying to photograph and enter memorials for anyone that has not been done in Valley Cemetery in Shakopee, Scott County, Minnesota.
