Wesley Anderson
No primary source for the information on the links you provided which conflicts with my information. While Samuel and Lucretia are the parents of Wesley, the data needs support through primary source documentation. There are some records down in the vault at the courthouse of Wilkes County that may be of help to this endeavor but I am not planning another trip east for at least 2-3 years. If you live in the area, it may be worth the effort to research these very old records books.

Best Regards,
Diane

"He was born about 1799 in Wilkes Co., NC, & died 8 Dec 1895, that's what I've found".

Thank you for the note you sent above. This entry is for John Anderson who would have been a SR or the father of vs whom your thinking is John Anderson a JR or his namesake son.

As I mentioned on the site, this John passed away between 1821 and 1825 as his widow re-married William Trotter, my 2nd great grandfather.

So far as I know, a burial has not been located for John Anderson Jr whose dates are b. 16 Jul 1821 Cumberland Co KY d. 7 Dec 1895 Carroll Co MO.

Hope this helps and again thank you for the note.

Florida Kathleen White
Clayton, I just transferred Florida Kathleen`s memorial over to you since you are related. Since mine was put on first and has the photo you may want to keep it and delete yours and then add all your information to the one with the grave marker photo. It will be left up to you to do as you like. I`m just glad for a family member to be in charge of her memorial. If I have other members of your family if you will get in touch with me I will also transfer them over to you. Have a great evening and I think it`s great that a young person is interested in their family history. Joan

RE: Clyde V. Bolick grave
Hi Clay!

The stone I photographed was not an upright stone. I went back through my photos for April to see if I had another photo for Mr. Bolick and perhaps I hadn't uploaded it, but I didn't find one. I did make sure that the GPS coordinates uploaded, so if you get a chance to go there, it should not be hard to find (if you have Find A Grave app on a smartphone). I'm not in that area of the state anymore, otherwise I would run back over there and look again for you.

RE: Geraldine Phillips grave photo
Yes there is some confusion about that section where she is buried. I have talked to the folks at West Lawn about those sections and I believe that they told me that they were actually a part of Green Lawn which is across the road. There are 3 sections on that side of the road which have upright stones, Old Monument Garden, Peace Garden and a section which is called Greenlawn. This is according to the diagram layout of the cemetery, (West Lawn).

Bless you Clayton! If not for you we would not know the identity of the family members.

How are you related? Carrie is my dad's mother.
