Bio

I have been doing genealogy as well as walking through cemeteries for about 20 years. My Husband and I used to enjoy walking through quiet areas in the cemeteries and seeing the stones. Our family now has limited free time to do this now.
Nonetheless, it is even more important to do my genealogy now to pass onto future generations and preserve the knowledge of the older generations before it is lost. To this point, I have branched out to four different lines of my family. I have to give many thanks to my 94 year old great uncle for the help he has offered me on his side of the family.
My goal for joining this site is to create a place where my family can come and find those that came before them. In my search of ancestors, I have traveled throughout the northeastern United States. Often I take pictures of my ancestors as well as other stone that interest me.
Thanks to those of you who have created memorials for the many members of my family. Hopefully you are not offended if I ask for a transfer of those I have traced through my genealogical work.
As my way of paying it forward, I am taking pictures in my area. I often look at request for the cemeteries in my area as well as the ones I plan to visit on trips and so forth. I am more than willing to transfer memorials that are not part of my family lines, just ask.
In my memorial pages, information included comes from free genealogical on line sites. I try not to use Obits but will sometimes look at them to confirm information. Please feel free to check my information.
Good luck to all. Hopefully I can be of some help to you as many people have me along the way. Please bear with me as it may take a few days to get back to you as my life is busy.
