Fallen Graver

Sadly, Carol Hudson has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I am married, live in Tennessee with my husband, John, and our White West Highland Terrier, Casey.

We have four children and 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild, who lives in far away New York city.

Thank you to the friends who have left flowers for my Mother and Step Father. These two people were so important to me and I loved them both so much. Both were taken much too soon - my mother at 56 and my step father just four years later at 67. My children were robbed of their laughter, love and wisdom because both were so young when they passed.

So many people have left flowers on their memorials that I just cannot keep up. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. My mother was truly my best friend.

I want to thank the many contributors who have photographed cemeteries and headstones. Your work does not go unappreciated. I am happy to share the photos I have taken. If you are a contributor and will share your photographs, it would be so helpful if you would include that permission in your bio.

Several of the memorials I maintain were transferred to me and if they are not closely related to me, I will transfer them. I will not transfer my parents or grandparents or my Aunt Mae and Uncle Clyde.

I have set up memorials for my two beloved Westies who were my constant companions for a total of about 20 years. If you visit pet memorials, I think you will enjoy reading about these two unforgettable dogs, Mitzi and Maggie.

Thank you again and thanks to Find A Grave for providing this free service to those of us eager to widen our horizons by learning about our own families.
