Bio

To all previous contributors I have emailed with, please note there has been a change of email address on 9/16/2019.

I was born and raised in Derry NH, and spent at least a week of my summer vacations in Kent Parish Carleton Co New Brunswick.

My father's grandparents were 19th century immigrants to the greater Boston Ma. area, the paternal set from Germany (Kunz/Lippert) just after the Civil War and his maternal set from Ireland (Long/McCarthy) McCarthy arriving just before the Civil War, and Long just after.

My mother was from Piercemont Carleton Co. New Brunswick Canada, (Kinney/DeMerchant) and through my mother, numerous Loyalist lines, Maugerville Planter lines, many 1st of family names in the Great Migration and even 5 Mayflower connections.

My wife Helen Browning Kuntz is owed a debt of gratitude by not only myself, but the rest of my siblings and all our children and continued future posterity for figuring out and locating our Kunz and Long blood lines through our father, and together Helen and I share this love and passion of history and genealogy.

I welcome any and all questions or comments on any memorial details I have contributed to or created.
