I work at the School for the Blind & Visually Impaired in Austin, Texas, but this is a private venture.

I love history, genealogy and music, so I have melded these interests together by creating memorials
to some of the many interesting former students of the Blind School. I have worked hard to locate and research most of the students here, but some graduates are more well-known and their memorials were given to Blind Spotlight by their creators.

I've done research on a few published historical books, one novel, web articles, etc. on other aspects
of Texas history, which can be found on Google.
