I live in Arkansas and have been, as of this writing (2016) a journalist for 36 years. Journalists are naturally curious and have an almost compulsion to have the whole story, especially the beginning, middle and end of a person's life. Besides being naturally curious, I'm just a sloppy old sentimentalist too. It's important to me that the lives of people I knew and loved are recorded somewhere for future generations -- so that those who have departed won't be forgotten, and those searching for them have a means for finding them.
