Became interested in genealogy after my mother passed and found a couple of pages of names of grandfather’s siblings. Didn’t know much beyond that and it has been an adventure. Searching Richardson, Cissell, Ballard, Dunlap, Worrell and a host of others. Find-A-Grave has been a wonderful tool -being able to link family members – especially first spouses that seem to be forgotten. Searching was difficult in the beginning – trying to work and take research trips, but now that I am retired – always finding something new and so gratifying to be able to close a gap in the tree!
