I have always been interested in genealogy and did extensive research on my paternal Grandmother's family history because she is from an old Quaker (Society of Friends) family and they kept meticulous records. I have the bug again and am looking for any information on my paternal Grandfather's side. His name was Eliezer Partington and he and my Grandmother have a tombstone together at the Earlham College cemetery in Richmond, IN. I have various notes and have made very incomplete family trees - I would like to fill them out with the missing links! My granddad came over from England as a very young boy(toddler) so I am trying to find out more about his family and links - there are
Partingtons and Jollys (Jolleys) everywhere since it was/is a common last name and I want to narrow my search to the right ones! I am also researching my mother's family (Sykes, Gessner, etc.)
If anyone believes they have links or are related, any information is welcome. I have found distant relatives in the past researching my grandmother.
