TURNAGE AND CARVER FAMILY MEMBERS ARE MY main search interest. I was born in 1952, Spartanburg,S C,middle child of 5 children.Loved going to visit family,as a child,and all the great stories shared.also,so enjoyed the annual family reunions.The Turnage side,only had small,gatherings that included Daddy,Mother,Daddy's Daddy,Daddy's step- Mother,Daddy's brother(wife and children),and my siblings,and me.Carver side had huge reunions,with Mother's 3 sisters(and families),Mother's 8 brothers(and families)...in a huge rented community building, then later, at Uncle Keith's house in the country.
These memories and exposure to family roots fueled my desire to find and document all that is possible...for future sprouts !
