Bio

One of my grandfathers died when I was four months old and the other one when I was two years old. I grew up going to their graves every Memorial Day and at other special times each year with my parents and widowed grandmothers.
We would walk through the cemeteries and they would point out the graves of other people they had known. I heard storied of their lives and felt a connection to them.
During the decades of my life, I have never failed to visit those cemeteries on Memorial Day; the places where my parents, aunts, and uncles are now also buried.
The Find A Grave Memorials I have created or am managing are all either of relatives or close friends.
